Plotwist
A premier hip-hop culture and event brand, shaping the region's urban nightlife.
What it is.
PLT · Sub-brandA premier hip-hop culture and events brand shaping the region's urban nightlife. Bold, type-led identity in purple.
Identity & endorsement.
Plotwist keeps its own wordmark. Give it 1× clear space on every side, hold its optical weight, and never stretch, recolour outside its palette, or merge it with another mark.
Clear space & misuse
Recolour outside its palette, stretch or rotate it, add effects, place it on a busy or low-contrast ground, or lock it up with another mark.
Use the supplied artwork at full opacity, on the dark ground or a clean light plate, with clear space held and its single accent as the only signal.
One own signal, on the house ground.
The Plotwist brand colour is its single dominant signal. It lives in the Hospitality Crimson world of the Hospitality & Entertainment vertical, on the shared ink-and-paper ground — one accent per surface, never three palettes at once.
The house type system.
Plotwist sets in the Coxswains type system — one geometric voice, used with discipline. A bespoke display face is permitted for the wordmark only; everything else runs on these three.
Headlines, the wordmark, big numerals. Tight, geometric, confident.
Body, UI, long-form. Neutral and highly legible at every size.
Labels, data, code, captions. Signals precision and the engineering layer.
We write the way a coxswain calls.
The register shifts between a party flyer and a bank memo; the character never does. Four principles hold across every entity.
Direct
Say the thing. Lead with the point, then support it. Cut throat-clearing and warm-up.
Evidence-led
Hard numbers, clear logic. Every claim earns its place — and we always distinguish actual from forecast.
Composed
Assured, never loud. No exclamation-point energy; confidence is shown by what we leave out.
Purposeful metaphor
The crew, the rudder, the tempo — used to frame meaning, never to fill space.
How Plotwist shows up.
Consumer-facing collateral leads with the Plotwist wordmark and its own colour. Coxswains appears only where trust helps — a small “an entity of Coxswains Holdings” in the footer of decks, contracts and corporate pages.
Always inherit
The structural grid, the voice principles, the accessibility floor (WCAG AA), the naming system and the 60 / 30 / 10 colour discipline.
Permitted variance
Its own wordmark, its own brand colour, and a display face for the logo — all inside the hierarchy. One dominant signal only.
Requires CMO approval
A new sub-brand identity or name, any change to a lockup, or mixing more than one accent on a surface. Never three palettes on one surface.
